Top pick of 2018: Aussie electronic-indie quintet Gold Fields’ ‘Glow’

Melbourne-based group Gold Fields has pulled out all the stops for their latest track ‘Glow’, eight minutes of pure electronic-indie hybrid bliss. Released last month via Haven Sounds, the track oozes a maturity and self-reflexivity that takes form in sonic complexity.

Taken from ‘Gold Fields’ EP of the same name, ‘Glow’ was mixed by indie music genius Tony Espie (The Avalanches, Cut Copy, Architecture in Helsinki); retro synths, churning beats, layered sweet-as-honey vocals and eclectic samples make ‘Glow’ a rollercoaster ride that’s worth getting on, again, again, and again. An exciting Australian headline tour and DJ sets will follow in early 2019, for the talented five-piece.
