Dream-pop quartet Amycanbe are hardly noobs in the music scene. Starting out in 2002 featuring Mattia Mercuriali and Marco Trinchillo, they traversed the musical landscape as a duo, and can now boast a full quartet featuring the input of Francesca Amati and Mattia “Matta” Dallara.

Three albums and four EP’s later, Amycanbe prepare to release their latest offering, White Slide EP. The first single to be lifted is ‘White Slide’ which features the mixing efforts of Mark Plati, known for his work with David Bowie, Prince, Robbie Williams and The Cure.

Born and based in Cervia, Italy, Amycanbe’s soundscape has been likened to that of The xx, The Naked and Famous, or The Cocteau Twins, although it is clear that the band embody their own unique characteristics. 



‘White Slide’ is a mesmerizing track – deep, soft and pulsating. Layers of sonic depth collaged into slow driving beats merge into a gently unfolding whole that touches the soul with its velveteen atmosphere.
