Oxen, a Swedish indie-rock duo, have shared the music video for their latest single, ‘Dark and Depressive’. The video takes place in an old gym with a stoic lead singer being the only person that’s seen. Despite these seemly grim circumstances, the bold splash of blue and upbeat music found within present a lightheartedness to the audience.

In an interview we previously had with them, Oxen revealed what inspired the song: “Been listening to a lot of 80s/90s stuff when writing this album and kinda wanted to catch that vibe. Remember writing this intro, wanted it to sound like something you could have written in high school, I like the simplicity of it.” You can read the full interview here.
