Flexing their studio muscle across 2020 with singles ‘Closer’ and ‘Good Goodbye,’ indie-pop duo Tin Pigeons are gearing up for a solid end to their year with a brand-new release. ‘Another Time’ landed via Close Up / Modern Sky.

Renowned for their intricately crafted back catalogue that spans for nearly 4 years, the East-Midlands band have been turning heads and pricking up the ears of industry heavyweights relentlessly since starting out. In fact, it’s no secret that Huw Stephens, Annie Mac, Greg James, Steve Lamacq, Jack Saunders and many more of the biggest names in the business have given them a huge thumbs up over the years, and they aren’t about to stop there.

Undeniably infectious and downright uplifting, ‘Another Time’ showcases everything the band represent – straight to the heart, thought-evoking bouncy indie-pop that will have you on your feet from the get-go. Featuring daydreamy guitar work, incredible vocal melodies and a festival-sized chorus that will be echoing around venues across the country and beyond, this is a real statement of intent from Tin Pigeons, who can’t seem to take their foot off the gas at the minute. On creating the record, they added:

“We wrote and recorded the single just before the world shut down, so it feels so good to be able to release something into the world again! The track deffo comes from a place of introspection, something we’ve all become very used to at the moment! We wanted to write about the feeling of when a relationship breaks down but at the same time you just know it was never going to work.”

With 500 gigs under their belts, Tin Pigeons’ DIY ethic has resulted in them sharing the stage with OUTLYA, Fickle Friends and Billie Marten. They’ve also graced the stages of Reading & Leeds, Boardmasters and 110 Above, and are now putting all of their energy and focus into the studio to tee up a huge 2021. Who wants to be part of it?
