Have you ever felt trapped in your own negative spiral of thinking about the worst things that can happen to you at every given moment? You may feel that you have a constant invisible shadow lurking around you, waiting to attack. Rock singer ANIQO’s latest music video ‘Fear’ explores this thought. It is a chilling watch and we are not able to stop watching it.
Directed and filmed by Matthias Pfeiffer (aka Pupillendriller), this video is the ingredients of a creative and innovative mind. This makes complete sense, as ANIQO is a liberal creative that shares her thoughts about herself and the world as if she is writing in her diary. The singer shares: “The video symbolizes confrontations with various fears… Matthias and I have a similar perspective on the world, also in aesthetic terms. To visualize the feeling of a song is not easy but we managed to do that here. Fear has many faces and I became even more aware of that during the shoot.”

ANIQO is definitely an excitingly oddball act, that we have no doubts will leave us intrigued building up to the release of her debut album BIRTH. The track ‘Fear’, released via Springstoff will also feature on this psychedelic rockers forthcoming LP.
