After a six-year hiatus, Italian producer Matilde Davoli has returned to claim her crown with the phenomenally captivating LP Home. Released via Loyal To Your Dreams, the nine track LP merges a plethora of styles together to form a sonic journal of what the artist considers to be “home” – a concept more than a place.

‘Home’ is an album that manages the rare trick of being accessible and head-warpingly unconventional at the same time. Written while moving between England and Italy, the result is a record that captures the vicissitudes of being torn between two places –  with authenticity and interesting sonic flair.

“Home has been a process of emotional and musical discovery, I wanted to create a mix of atmospheric jazz, pop and electronic, experiment with song structure and with my limits. I don’t like being tied to a specific music genre, which means trouble when someone asks me what I do. It’s many homes in one.”
