Firewoodisland maintain their heartful stance to their lyrics which continue to shine a light  on the importance of mental health and being in healthy relationships. Their latest single Look Through’ alongside The Satellite Station is nothing short of charming with its endearing tone. Despite the lyrically heavy lyrics, the spirited and hopeful acoustics provide a touch of emotional relief for the listener. Having a softer indie appeal, when listening to a Firewoodisland or The Satellite Station track, one should still prepare to feel something.

Emotions are forever fickle, but your mental health is a gradual and unpredictable slope that can seem intact until chaos heads your way, and you fall down headfirst without realizing. ‘Look Through’ is a song that could not come at a better time to address the importance of observing your thoughts and emotions when and before things go wrong.

Firewoodisland have also shared a  live video on social media, which shows the detail in the instrumentation for the single: “This is a gorgeous studio rendition of ‘Look Through’ together with The Satellite Station. It really helps you understand some of the instrumentation that went into this song. Try watching it a few times whilst focusing on different instruments. You’ll find that you hear that particular instrument much clearer. Hope you like it!
