‘Nowhere’ is a track that requires few introductory or explanatory words because it is full of gentle subtleties from the beginning of the song to its end displaying a skilful arrangement. Listeners of the single will realise that as soon as they savour a particular nuance in a note, another is presented to them. The notes are arranged with complexity, appearing to overlap each other, but not doing so. Ultimately the song progresses like an ocean, appearing still but overflowing with wonders, secrets, and joys.

WMD tell us how ‘Nowhere’ came to fruition: “This song was one of the few on this record written during a two-week stay in northern Montana last winter. I had a cabin on a little private lake, which I set up a small studio in. I remember starting the song on acoustic guitar one evening while watching the sun set over the mountains”.
