Second Hand Poet is the moniker of Surrey based songwriter Jamie Tipson,
The new single ‘I Wanna Watch TV’ is taken from his upcoming first full length album titled ‘An Avenue Of Honest News’ coming 16th of October.
2018’s Debut mini album ‘Songs For The Pyre’ and Last years trio of singles ‘I’ll Be Yours’, ‘Honeycomb’ and ‘Dust To Dust’ gained a fantastic response, gaining new fans and features by the likes of Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 and Spotify Official Playlists.
Jamie releases music through his own label ‘Pretty Thing Records’, which during lockdown released a compilation album involving 16 artists with all proceeds going to Help Musicians UK.
Prior to live music being on pause, he also played shows supporting the likes of Johnny Lloyd, Jonah Matranga, Moddi and embarked on his own UK and European tours.
