Irish band The Burma share personable live performance video

The screen is black. The faint hum of an un-earthed guitar amp sizzles. Then a well-dressed guitarist hookes himself up to an in-ear monitor. A bleep sounds, and a white logo hits the screen, announcing the band about to perform:

The Burma.

Filmed at The Royal Spa Hotel, Lisdoonvarna, Clare in Ireland, the band’s new live video captures the rich imperfections that make a live performance comfortable. And in it, singer-guitarist Tony O Donovan shows his personality, making a humorous remark that one could imagine him making at an on-stage gig.

Tying off loose ends, bringing one era to an end before moving on to the next, The Burma shared, “As a band, we love playing live, and we wanted to release something a bit special that gives the songs from our debut album a new lease of life. It’s a final farewell to ‘Sucker For Stars’ as we shift swiftly on to new singles and our second album!” – Read our feature on Sucker For Stars here.
