‘One Way Holiday’ is the latest addition to Scotland-based Beldon Haigh’s repertoire of thought-provoking songs. Released on the 4th of September 2023 via Interstreet Recordings (on behalf of Covfefe Records), the captivating pop rock single and its accompanying video has already amassed more than 96K views (and counting) on YouTube. The ensemble features a full rock band with Haigh on guitar and vocals, Jimmy Green on guitar, Kevin Jefferies on bass, Jon Howells on drums and percussion and Dru Baker on keys.

The song opens with an evocative baritone guitar riff, nailing the mood of wistful contemplation. The verses muse quietly while the choruses soar with passionate guitars, lush keys and big drums. Haigh’s vocals imbue the song with the potent emotions that the lyrics talk about.

With its release purposefully coinciding with the return of many from their summer vacation, ‘One Way Holiday’ taps into themes and feelings of nostalgia, memories, reflection, love and loss.
