Singer Songstress Leanne Tennant has shared her moving music video for ‘Bring It All Back’. The video was directed by Jennifer Embelton, who also directed Tennants previous music video for ‘Cherry Cola’. You can check out some more of Embelton’s work here.
“The video invites you into its compelling, surreal, cinematic scenes set in familiar suburban landscapes. Exploring the theme isolation plays in the demise of a relationship, it shows how community and belonging can help you ‘bring it all back.” Embelton shares a little more of the driving concept behind the music video.
The two manage to create a music video for a love song set in some of the least romantic places; underneath a washing line filled with cloths and at two different garages – one for filling up petrol and the other for repairs. Despite, this we get the romantic tone coming through clearly as the featured couples express the songs lyrics to each other.
Tennant has had a history of releasing impactful songs as her previous single, ‘Gentle Annie’ won the Queensland Music Award in the ‘Blues & Roots’ category in 2017. You can listen to the bluesy track below.
