‘Let Go Of Fear’ lands today, signaling a new high point for Seth Tabatznik, the London-born Folk artist whose journey since his 2024 debut has been quietly remarkable. Early singles like ‘Shining For Love’ and ‘Choose To Be Alive’ drew praise from CLASH Magazine and EARMILK, propelling his streams beyond 100,000 and filling venues from Cape Town’s Boschendal Estate to Camden’s Green Note. With a second album on the horizon for 2026, Seth is carving out a distinct space in the Indie Folk world. Now calling the Western Cape mountains home, he weaves his music from a deep sense of place and intention, blending raw acoustic sounds with a spiritual current. Mentorship from Nick Mulvey and guitar teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand has guided his evolving sound, placing him alongside artists like Bon Iver, Novo Amor, and Sleeping At Last.

The single shifts gears from Tabatznik’s prior guitar-heavy outings, opting for a broader, almost hushed setup where strings provide the backbone and piano sparks add subtle lift. His singing rides low and unforced over it all, crafting a pull that’s equal parts open and inward, zeroing in on release without overplaying it. Rooted as a take on Nick Barber‘s ‘Heart’s Mystery’, it’s a version honed from years of road-tested performances, now captured in studio polish.

Seth Tabatznik had this to say: Let Go of Fear’ is a cover of a Nick Barber song: Heart’s Mystery. Its a song I fell in love with and adopted over the last few years; as passed onto me by my guitar teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand. I’ve sang this song round the world, in ceremonies, in singing circles and at festivals as an audience singalong and am grateful to be sharing this personalised recorded studio version.”
