Following the release of their debut album ‘Moon TV’ earlier this year, Moontwin return with new single ‘Waiting For Fall’. Previous singles ‘Brakes’, ‘Nothing Is Good For Me’, ‘Never In The Same Worlds’, ‘Lose You’, ‘Your Sun’ and ‘Don’t Worry Bout Me’ picked up a plethora of blog reviews and playlists from around the world.
Melanie says, “’Waiting for Fall’ dives headfirst into an icy sea to explore the twilight world that exists between dream state and waking. A fluid, shape-shifting space where conversations, random moments and thoughts can sneak into our subconscious, often revealing new meaning and unexpected significance.”
Melanie and Zac collided in a virtual space somewhere between Bulgaria and London. Distant old friends with a common history, the pair began to reacquaint and soon found themselves spinning threads of musical ideas. They write and record their music and film their videos using videophones as their portal, all while being over 1700 miles apart.
Additionally, Zac was diagnosed with a degenerative muscular disorder a few years ago and has lost the use of his hands, despite which he has managed to create a method of recording, mixing, and editing their music and visuals.
