Dutch songstress HEBE has teamed up with singer-songwriter Martin Jasper for a poetic duet they have dubbed ‘Don’t Wanna Wake Up’, out now via HEBE-MUSIC. Raw, emotional, and vulnerable, the track is an earnest look at an ever-present facet of the human condition.

A pulsating sustained guitar chord thrums beneath a wave of melodious oohs before HEBE’s gentle voice carries us away to an introspective place, where she sits, reflecting on the nature of fear and longing for its relief – a subject to which many listeners will relate.
HEBE said: “Last Friday ‘Don’t Wanna Wake Up’ came out! A song I co-wrote with Martin Jasper about 1001 types of fear and the inner turmoil it causes. While writing, we shared our personal fears and also laughed really hard at times about the ridiculousness of some of these fears, when those same fears can feel so real at other times. It felt liberating to speak them, write them down and sing them. Perhaps some of you can hear recognizable fears. We hope you like it!”
