Recalling the effervescent power-pop of Blondie, The Primitives or early-REM, “Distant Lullaby” is as immediate as it is infectious. The kind of lullaby that’s unlikely to induce much shut-eye, this jet-propelled cut beams-in like a 21st century daydream of a once untouchable era for alternative music.

Speaking about the track, Rose Vastola of the band says:

“Distant Lullaby is an honest proclamation of the inability to let things go unresolved. The melody popped into my head while demoing the tune late one night with Ian Bernacett on acoustic guitar. Partnered with distortion, fuzzy bass and floating cowbells we wanted Distant Lullaby to be an instantly catchy song.”

At just 2’20 “Distant Lullaby” is an endorphin rush of dizzying dual guitar lines and febrile rhythms that will demand repeated plays again and again. Instantly hooky and over-all-too-soon, it offers an addictive foretaste of what to expect from their upcoming third album: ‘Always Something’.
