UK-based band The Lottery Winners dropped their latest single ‘Superpower’ on 24 October. The single serves as a teaser from their forthcoming album KOKO slated for release on 21 February 2025.
The enigmatic single captures the essence and personality of the band perfectly. ‘Superpower’ is an ode to frontman Thom Rylance’s ADHD diagnosis. It’s a vibrant, feel-good track that celebrates diversity, and removes the stigma from neurodivergence. Released during ADHD Awareness month, The Lottery Winners joined forces with the ADHD foundation to help raise awareness and dismantle some of the misconceptions and myths surrounding ADHD.
On the inspiration behind the track Thom revealed; “I’m disappointed it’s taken so long to get my diagnosis. If a child has to wait five years too, that’s the whole of their time at high school. If one person gets diagnosed and feels better about who they are because Superpower raises awareness, I’d be very happy.”

‘Superpower’ features the rapid wit and boundless innovation from Thom. The track features an earworm melody and whimsical, light-hearted beat with Thom’s zestful delivery and lyricism leading the charge. The accompanying music video is a chaotic fun-filled masterpiece, filmed at Thom’s old high school. It features alpacas, Thom dancing on stage, learning how to drive and trying to prevent a bomb from exploding. Each scene, although seemingly absurd and comical, paints a picture of what it’s like living with ADHD.
The band are gearing up for their headline tour beginning in February 2025 in Bristol, and will see them perform in Glasgow, London, Liverpool and Leeds. Tickets for their headline tour are on-sale now at Ticketmaster
