This past Friday, via Moth Music (Mother Of The Heart), Seth Tabatznik delivered his single ‘Choose To Be Alive’. Born in London and settled in the Western Cape mountains of South Africa, he launched his music last year and has crossed 100,000 streams. Live, he’s packed venues from a debut sell-out at Boschendal Estate in Cape Town to one at Green Note in Camden, London. Prepping album number two for 2026, Seth Tabatznik is making moves in indie folk, crafting acoustic tunes infused with medicine music that honors nature via raw harmonies and meaningful words.

‘Choose To Be Alive’ spotlights gratitude and personal power in a stripped-back setup. It opens with grounded guitar work and light shaker beats, then layers in vocal builds, deep harmonies, and a flute passage that brings an otherworldly touch. The result is something introspective yet motivating, urging listeners to engage with life fully.

Seth Tabatznik revealed: “This song is very much inspired by my daily meditations. I follow Dr. Joe Dispenza‘s methodology and this song is what his message would sound like if he wrote singles instead of giving lectures. This song is all about our power as the creators of our own lives to take responsibility for our behaviours and our actions, and not to be victims of any situation. It’s about being grateful for life, as good things flow to those who are in love with life, who have big and open hearts, and who choose to focus on gratitude for what we have, rather than pay attention to what we feel we lack.
