Today, July 31, 2026, sees Chloe Star release her new single ‘Games‘. The 28-year-old Persian and Indigenous singer-songwriter, visual artist, and tribal advocate grew up between her family’s reservation in San Bernardino and Los Angeles. She began writing and creating through journaling and other art forms as a pre-teen, shaped by the music in her cultural roots. Since breaking through in 2023, she has built a profile on direct emotion and honesty that continues to pull in more listeners. Rolling Stone placed her track ‘Bad Habit‘ in its 2025 Best New Music: Songs You Need to Know feature, while METAL Magazine, CLASH Magazine, have also covered her work. She has performed at London Pride, New York Pride Festival, Back Lot Bash in Chicago, Out & Abt in New York, and The Dinah in California. Her sound takes cues from Amy Winehouse, Nirvana, and YUNGBLUD, with listeners drawing lines to Paramore, Billie Eilish, and YUNGBLUD.
‘Games’ starts with jungle rhythms running alongside her usual alt-rock guitar lines for a quick, steady launch. The track holds its pace through busy percussion and direct instrumentation that stay locked in from beginning to end. Star’s vocals carry the main weight, moving from rapid rap verses into the choruses where she opens up with full force. The shifts keep the energy moving without a drop.
Chloe Star shared: “Even if the game is dangerous, I still want to play. I’ve always been drawn to the thrill of not knowing how something will end, even when I know it could destroy me. There’s something addictive about throwing yourself into the unknown just to see what happens!! The adrenaline, the chaos, and whatever version of yourself is waiting on the other side. ‘Games’ is about the part of me that’s always willing to roll the dice, no matter the consequences.”
