Alternative band Mirages share ‘Rabbit Hole’ music video

Alternative Rock 5-piece Mirages are excited to release their latest single ‘Rabbit Hole‘, along with a unique story-based music video. The video is a Black Comedy based on the life of one central character – a rabbit – who in reality is a bearded man in a pink rabbit costume.

While the comedy element comes through the random acts the rabbit commits, both the song and music video deal with issues surrounding mental health, the dark side of isolation and the effects of intense loneliness.

During the video we see the rabbit struggle with issues such as alcoholism and delusion, seeing a blow-up doll as a real person and his only friend. The video builds by depicting the rabbit’s growing frustration and confusion as his loneliness encompasses him. It culminates in him lashing out at the doll, which ultimately meets a violent end.

The song itself is inspired by Grunge, Blues and Indie Rock artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood, featuring a powerful chorus, rhythmic guitars and driving beat.

Rabbit b‘ is available on all major platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
